Sail with us
The Club Nautique du Petit Lac Magog together with the AQVA's adapted sailing program has enabled people of all ages with physical disabilities to discover the joys of sailing since its inception in 1999. Children between the ages of 10 to 15 years in age may join the program and sail, but they need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
The boat is the Martin 16 which is easily adaptable and extremely safe. It is equipped with a special keel that prevents it from capsizing. For people with limited or no use of their hands and arms, special adaptive equipment is used to allow them to experience the freedom of being out on the water.
The sailor is always accompanied by an experienced instructor who gives instructions on how to sail or actually control the boat and sail it on behalf of the sailor.
Come and have fun in the company of other sailors. Picnic at the edge of the water in a safe and peaceful environment. Only six people can be accepted for a group outing at a time. Groups must have companions and assistants on hand to take care of changing clothing and bathroom help. Contact us to learn more about organizing group outings. We will be thrilled to have you.
The cost is $ 15 per person for an outing of an hour, which includes the time necessary to make the transfers in and out of the boat.
